Integrated Football

Integrated football for players with an intellectual disability

Training: Wednesday 5.30pm – 6.30pm at the Kingsway Football Club – Get Directions here.

The Kingsway Football Club and The Western Australian Amateur Football League (WAAFL) is continuing to provide opportunities for people with integration difficulties to live their dreams and play AFL football. We at Kingsway are seeking additional players to join our existing group to further develop our team and establish a solid northern base for our program.

The competition consists of 5 other clubs and games are normally fixtured fortnightly, however we train every Wednesday night commencing 5:30pm for 1 hour. Training is structured into two sections, the first being basic football skills (kicking, marking, handball & tackling), the second being fun orientated with goal kicking and ensuring that football gives the players a team orientation and enjoyment.

For more information you can check out the WAAFL website: go to “PROGRAMS” and then drop down box to Integrated football.
